And more clubs means more work for the school. So support it not with you (who leaves in four years or whatever) but with a TEACHER. More of a chance.
Good luck!
My name is Justin. I am in Grade 11 at Alternative Scarborough Education 2 (ASE2). This is an alternative school. It’s a school for students who are self motivated and who want to learn. It is a small school only consisting of about 200 people.This is my first year doing co-op and I am doing it as a four credit program. I was accepted into Tiny Giant Magazine just prior to the summer and I was looking forward to working here. I admit, I do miss the summer vacation though.
I consider my interests are very different from other people’s interests. They are programming, video games and the entire Japanese culture, both past and present. Also, I have a web site that I do the HTML coding for.
Video games have been a big interest to me for most of my life. I started to play Super Mario Bros. for the first Nintendo at about 3 and 1/2 years old. (Explains why I have glasses.) I now spend a lot of time working on a multi-player role playing game that I hope to program sometime in the future.
Japanese culture has been a big part of my life since about 4 years old. I especially enjoy things like anime. I have never been to Japan but I hope to visit there someday. I am slowly picking up Japanese through a friend of mine who has spent years in Japan. I have also made many friends over the Internet who live or have lived in Japan.
Also, I am very interested in the history of Japan. The Feudal and Tokuwaga eras have always been of great interest to me.
I also train in Kendo and Iaido in my spare time. These are both swords fighting styles that were used back in the feudal era of Japan. I have been training in Kendo for about 12 years now and I have just recently started to train in Iaido. I have been able to form my own sword style from all of the training I have done in each.
I have a feeling that I will enjoy my time here and I recommend that others look into a Tiny Giant Magazine location near by for a co-op opportunity.

Every single time my friend and I have proposed an anime club at our school, it is shot down because “we should see if the art club will let us make an anime branch off of the club.”
Does the vice principal seriously think the art club is going to be happy with that?
fork NO.
We mentioned creating a collaborative web comic, but they must have completely ignored us when we touched up on reading and watching material of the like.
Pissed me off.
It’s not even worth trying anymore because my school just doesn’t fuckin’ listen to me anymore. They already unjustly labeled me a liar, so why the fork should they give a damn now?
.::glares mental daggers at them::.
