You don’t think that anime is mainstream? Really? I see it everywhere I go. I wish it would go underground again. Then I’d feel all good about myself for liking this sweet underground art form. But once American bands are using anime in their videos, or once it’s all over TV, or once it wins an Oscar… I feel like that crabby hipster who’s ranting and raving because Of Montreal isn’t scene anymore, or something.
