I honestly wonder exactly how many idiot children have been conditioned into at the very least downplaying Germany’s crimes, if not openly supporting Nazi ideology, because of shit like this in anime. Seems like every time I come across someone under the age of 30 preaching about “THE GREAT JEW HOLOCAUST CONSPIRACY, GERMANY WERE THE GOOD GUYS SAVING US FROM BOLSEHVISM”, a few seconds’ worth of the most basic internet detective work finds they’re into anime in a really big way and seem to look upon the Nazis as some cute novelty instead of a pack of murderers.

it never ceases to amaze me how these self-appointed prophets and holders of superior intellect can scarcely string two sentences together without finding some manner of making it painful to read their drivel. surely if you’re so much more intelligent than everyone else, it wouldn’t kill you to write a little better?
